    Default stupid q...how many prawns approx in a kg?

    Like whole cooked prawns? Shells on...

    I have no idea!

    Really depends what sort they are and the size. The ones we buy would usually have approx 16 - 20 to the kilo. If you have a shop nearby just go and ask them to weigh a kilo for you so you have an idea

    well last weekend i got half a kilo of just the small local prawns and there were HEAPS probably about 40 + prawns

    so it depends on what prawn the weight etc

    19 years old
