The last few days my DD has been only having fruit for breakfast. I'm talking a BIG plate of fruit though - a small banana, four or five strawberries, a wedge of rockmelon/watermelon, half a mango. All chopped up. It's a BIG breakfast.
She's discovered the joy of eating with a fork and pretty much won't use anything else. It's great, because for a while there she started refusing to be fed, but couldn't quite manage a spoon and if she was using her fingers she would just throw things on the floor or mash them into her tray.
She's gone off cereal (Weetbix / porridge) a bit, and isn't really interested in toast anymore either.
I'm just wondering if only fruit for breakfast is enough? She has morning tea, which is usually crackers, and she still has her bottle before her morning sleep. She's growing like a weed and has plenty of energy and is always happy. It's very healthy but I just wonder if she should be having some carbs as well for breakfast? She's 15 months old.
