    Default Walkers?

I just asked this in my birth group but thought I'd broaden out.. spread my wings..

Walkers? Does anyone still use them? I see the awesome looking swiss-army-knife type in the baby shops and what not... but I'm not about to ask the sales lady if people still buy them. Of course she'll say yes...

So, do you? Spawn had one when she was a baby, she loved it, smashed around and what not, had a skipping rope tied to it and let her wander around and would just gently pull her back.... no slopes

    So, do you? Lol.

Yeah I wasn't sure of the reason why they weren't 'big' anymore.

My kid doesn't walk on her tippy toes. She walks fine. She doesn't shut up. But I doubt that's related to the walker.

My DD2 is 6 months and zips around on the tiles in hers and loves it....

My DD1 and DS both had walkers and neither of them walk tippy toed

Although mine raises and lowers according to the length of bubby's legs and DD2 stands flat footed in it because we lowered the seat height a little

    Thank you all very much.

Now, any suggestions? I saw one shaped like a car... I think I am in way over my head. Where can you buy a normal looking one? Lol.

Off to research, but if anyone has any recommendations please... send em this way.

Big W It was a normal old style one, came with a detachable toy tray thing that had a steering wheel and stuff on it and was only about $40.

I personally dont like walkers that the baby sits in. If the wheels get stuck on something it may tip over.

We have a walker that they dont sit in, rather just a thing on wheels that they can stand up behind and push. Kinda like a pram but without the pram part iykwim.
