Default Mucous Plug - sorry tmi warning!

Hi i had an appt at the post dates clinic yesterday where they did an internal to check dilation - approx 3-4cm. Then she swept the membranes i think to stir things up.

I had some initial bleeding after being done at 2.30pm approx and then some till mid evening.

None during night, then this morning i had brownish discharge on pad, sorry tmi.
Then wiped few times and red blood, bit clottish like. Is this from internal yesterday - can it restart or is this my plug?

Told to call delivery suite if heavy like period - i wouldn't consider it like a heavy period.

I had contractions for a few hours last night but seem to have stopped now. Was hoping it was starting naturally, due to be induced Thursday.

Have you tried acupuncture to try and bring things on?

To me it sounds like your plug is coming away, have you had any cramping?

No i haven't tried accupunture. Was tempted but no point now as only one day to go.

I have had a lot of cramping for a couple of weeks or more, but particularly last day or so.

You have the right to refuse or postpone an induction if you wish. How far over are you?

Sounds like your plug to me, I lost mine while I was in labour and it looked like what you described (lovely isn't it..lol).

Good Luck, hopefully things get moving soon
