    We are thinking Anka for the middle name - my husbands' grandma's name. She had a huge impact on his life.

    Absolutely LOVE the name....

    But that may have something to do with my DD's name. She is Larah Jade.

    Love the name cause it is not common and means alot to us. Its a combination of my name & her fathers.

    I say go for it.

    Only thing we never really found a nickname we liked.
    I call her Larry, came from having a bad hair cut when younger. La La (but don't like the ring to it).
    My brother nicknamed her LJ, which i like.

    I LOVE IT!!! I wanted to use it but DH wasn't too much of a fan and then we found our bubs name and loved it more. Still think Lara is gorgeous though!

    One of my good friends named her daughter Lara Jade also. She's a little tomboy but totally cute!

    mumoflj - i love it with the 'H' i'm also partial to Norah...... i think the h softens it a bit...

    Anka's a beautiful choice for the middle...
