Question FF for 9 weeks and still no AF!!!

Hi, I have no idea where to post this so i thought here would be best.

I had my second son 9 weeks ago and im FF since 1.5 weeks as i had not enough milk once again.

I still have not got my period back.

Just want to know if this is normal or not?? I have been sexually active with my partner from 2 weeks after the birth using condoms. Im waiting on a call for then gyno to see about getting the marina for contraceptive.

Kinda stressing out a little here lol!

    Thanks

    Hi,
It took 13 weeks for mine to return, and I have read posts on here of girls not getting theirs back anywhere from 1 month to 12 months. But I think anything past 3 months should be checked out IMO.

Dont worry, your body just isnt ready yet - are you sleep deprived etc? those things can be a factor.

I'm in much the same situation - I posted a similar thread under bottlefeeding a week or so ago to hear from other FF mums too.

It's now almost been 11 weeks for me and still no period.

I BF/expressed for about 2 weeks but DD2 has been topped up with formula from day 3 and solely FF fed since 2 weeks - she was a big bub and I once again didn't have enough milk.

At my last OB appointment (7 weeks after birth) he said it usually takes about 6 weeks after you stop breastfeeding to get your period back.

Anyway, I'm giving it another week then I'm going to give the doctor a call to see what he thinks as I'm sure it didn't take this long with DD1. But like other posters have said, I'm hoping it's just because my body isn't ready yet.
