Default Gift for Mum instead of bub?

(I had this question elsewhere but will do this thread here and might get a quicker response seeing as the party is tomorrow)
I am going to a baby shower on Saturday and because I know the mum has loads of stuff from her previous babies I was thinking of getting a gift for her. I thought A voucher to get her toes and nails done afterward. Its just a thought...is this odd? I thought it might be a nice gesture but not sure if it is inappropriate.

So not odd! I would have loved to have more pampering when I was pregnant!
raising a child with disabilities is not what anyone expects, but it has become NORMAL life. My loving little boy, who amazes me everyday, is precious just the way he is.

I like the idea of a massage or facial voucher to

I think that's a fantastic idea!! Though perhaps just a voucher to a beauty salon so she can choose what she wants to have done? I've been given a voucher for a pedicure before and while it was a lovely thought, I just can't handle anyone touching my feet

It's a wonderful idea I didn't have a baby shower but I got a gift (it was from ex's mum) it was so nice to be thought of iykwim she gave me a lovely spray and some body stuff from the body shop.
i think she will love it.

The best baby shower gift I got was a hospital pack for myself, mini shampoos, deodarants, toothpaste etc.

But I think any pamper gift for the mum is lovely. Especially once the baby comes the bub is showered with gifts and it's nice to know you have a massage etc to look forward to yourself.
