Hi everyone,
For those that have not meet me yet I am 25 and live at Corinda, Brisbane. I am a SAHM to my very special little man, Isaac James.
Isaac was born on the 12/12/03 but was 12 weeks early and spent the first 3 months of his life, fighting it out in hospital. All is really well now with him, but he is still only 5.5kg at 10 months.
Anyway, I am having a fundraiser day at Sherwood Forest Park on the 12 December (Sunday) for Isaac's First Birthday. He would not be here today if it was not for the amazing work that the Royal WOmens Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). They are fully government funded so we all know what that means. These premmie babies rely on fundraising and donations to live.
It cost a lot of money to keep these babies alive and the best present Isaac could ever have, would be knowing that more premmie babies can survive.
So please, if you are free that weekend think about coming down to Sherwood Forest Park. If you look in the Refo it is the biggest park in Sherwood. The details are as follows.
Sherwood Forest Park
11am Sunday 12 December 2004
BYO Picnic (there is some BBQ's but lots of people will be there)
You can either just come for a nice day out with your family, or you can spare a bit of cash to make a differents for premmies at the Royal Womens Hospital.
I am even going to try and organise some raffles as well, I will let you know as the day gets closer. If anyone has a business that is willing to donate gifts for a raffle, please let me know. Also if there are any other premmie parents out there, let me know if you want to help out.
