    Default Very worried. Help please.

Alright, so yesterday I worked a ten hour day and now today it feels like theres massive amounts of pressure on my cervix/hips/lower region in general. It's really, really painful.

I asked my Mum and she said they sound like Braxton Hicks, but when I pointed out I was only like a month along in the pregnancy, she said she had them that early with my sister.

I'm just really worried there's something wrong with bub. Even if it is Braxton Hicks, I'm worried about having them so early in the pregnancy.

Any insight as to what else it might be, or if it's normal and everything is okay would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry I'm a bit confused - are you a month into your pregnancy or a month from the end?

I would think braxton hicks at the beginning of the pregnancy is unlike and it's more likely some cramping and adjustments as everything settles in for the months ahead.

If you're at your end it's all perfectly normal

Not sure what's normal, I too felt braxton hicks from about 14 weeks onwards. But sitting down all day probably put strain on your pelvis etc. everything will be stretching and growing already. I found sitting at my desk as soon as I was pregnant was really uncomfortable, the bloating etc didn't help. Probably try walking every hour or so, my rule was when something was painful, I just didn't do it...
Sorry not much help reading back

Yes if it is at the end of ur prenancy its normal as... Coz im bit confused if u mean a month pregnant like 4 weeks or u have 4 weeks to go...

But if it at the begining, the chances are it is the hormones in ur bofy relaxing ur joint n muscle so dont stress to much....

    Hope all is well..

I would go see your doctor asap. Braxton hicks start much later in your pregnancy. It might be just that you over did yourself but just for your peace of mind see someone.

    Hi, thanks for your help.
Everything stretching makes more sense than braxton hicks.

I'm four weeks into my pregnancy atm, roughly.

Also, I already walk atleast an hour a day. Lol. I work in hospitality and retail so I'm constantly on my feet.

Thanks again. I'm not so worried now.
