I don't think eggs are recommended for babies under 12 months, i'd probably not give it to him, but so far as eating it im sure he can eat it, just they don't recommend it because of any allergic reaction.

I was told to slowly introduce egg yolk & then whites from about 8 months. I waited til 9 months & Ava is now nearly 11 months & has tried quiche.

I wouldnt give him quiche if he hasnt had egg before tho.
    Me + him = DD (7), DS (4), DS (4 months)

I think its egg yolks from about 9 months, then whites after 12 months. If he hasn't had egg yolks before, then i'd probbly give it a miss 'til he's used to them, and you can be sure he hasn't had a reaction.

I gave DD1 zucchini slice (much like quiche) from 12 months, and she loved it! Scrambled eggs were a fave when we started tryiong eggs, just the yolks, with some tiny diced tomato and ham, and some tomato sauce. Funny...she's not a fan of eggs now though?

I was also told whole eggs are fine to start at 9 months. We started DD on them then, scrambled eggs and quiches are great foods for that age.
