Default my water just broke! but I'm not even pregnant???

What on earth just happened, I was putting Ds2 to bed and then felt a gush followed by some more gushes as I quickly made my way to the toilet. I was expecting a period or something by the way it felt, but nope... water! Not urine, water!

    What is going on?????

No idea. But you should probably be taking yourself off to a doctor to find out. It could be a sign of something else.. you never know.

    Good luck.

thanks I need to go to the Dr for something else anyway so I might ask them, but I don't hold much hope of them knowing anything, the Drs are pretty hopeless around here.. and I don't say that lightly

Any ideas what this could be? Has anyone had this happen before??

thanks for the link, I just read that and I don't think that's what I have. I have no other symptoms and there is no smell and it is clear water, not milky. This is so weird, DH is freaked!

Do you have a history of ovarian cysts? If so, could it be one of them bursting and somehow the fluid found its way down your fallopian tube?

How weird.. are you still leaking? I'd go see a doctor.. or if you think there is even a slight possibility you could have been pregnant without realising, go to emergency.

It sounds like vaginal discharge that has pooled in your vagina and moved out when you stood up.
