Default how many days out from O did you conceive

I am TTC our second baby and I am following the rules to have a girl (we have a beautiful son already).

I wanted to know from the bub hub community how many days out from ovulation you conceived and what the gender of the baby is(whether the Shettles method holds true or otherwise).

We are doing the 5 days before O rule and will see how that goes. If it's not good for this month I will bring it up to 4 full days before ovulation. I O on around day 18 of a 32 day cycle so we had our last shot on day 13.

Any advice or feedback welcomed. Thanks all, Sairbair

Not entirely sure about conception for DD1 I think it was 3days before O but can't be sure. For DD2 we BD on Sunday am and I got the strongest +OPK on Thursday morning barely any + OPK on the friday and then a really strong BFP day after AF was due.

BTW we weren't trying for a girl we were just trying and DH worked away so we were just BDing when he was home on the weekend.
There once was an awesome man who met an awesome girl, they fell in love, got married, had an awesome boy, 3 awesome girls and lived awesomely ever after in the most Awesome place on Earth.

    Hi Sairbair,
I have conceived 2 boys (both on the day I ovulated I think) and when we tried for our third bub after losing our second little boy we didn't care what we had. I was desperate to get pregnant again asap so was using ovulation predictor kits, and the month that I did fall pregnant with my daughter we DTD the day before the positive OPK (so up to 48hrs or so before I O'd I suppose) but didn't DTD after the positive OPK. Wasn't intentional, it just kind of happened that way and i really didn't think I would get my BFP cause it was before the OPK.

Our first was a boy and we were trying so hard to fall pregnant that we were DTD every day (sometimes twice a day). Whether or not that contributed to his gender I have no idea. (Sorry if that's TMI - just trying to answer your question honestly.)

I haven't tried for any sex but as it turned out

First - close to ovulation, a girl.
    Second - Would've been within a day of ovulating - a girl.
Third - at least 5 days before ovulating (we weren't ttc). A boy.

    I think it's rubbish.

I checked when I O'ed it was day 26 of a 35 day cycle I did day 21 and never did it after that. I did it 5 dfays out sperm stays alive up to 7 days in a body. After 3 boys we got that girl. Good luck I think i gave you that diet??
I wouldn't say many people could pinpoint their O day , I never did before no.4. Most leave it to chance and can't really recall specific I am pretty sure though I felt all the pains and knew the egg dropped on a sat after DTD on the Tues before. When I went for my U/S I said I think I know how far I am , ( thought I was 6 wks and 1 day and then the sonographer says you are 6 wks and 1 day that confirmed we were having a girl in my eyes.
