Default Any recommendations on good ducted vacuum systems?

We are looking at installing a ducted vacuum system in our new house but don't know which one to buy - does anyone have any recommendations?

We have pets so one that can help get rid of all the pet hair easily plus vacuum well on carpet, tiles and floorboards.

    Any advice/recommendations needed! Thanks!!

Default Do not buy the Lux Ducted Vacuum System

Hi, we bought the lux ducted system and wish we hadn't. It broke down after 3 months which was just the start of our dramas. The company was rude to deal with and we got shuffled from one person to another. In the end we were told that we had to take the unit of the wall ourselves and take it to their service centre ourselves ( 1 hr trip) or pay a heavy service call. We had no choice but to agree to the call out fee $150 only to find out later that this only covered one trip and we had to pay another $150 to have it returned to us. So $300 and 2 weeks later we got our machine back only to find it stopped again after 2 weeks, and yep you guessed it the service guy wanted another $300 to come out and do the whole over again saying "it wasn’t his fault" we rang Lux again and complained that because the machine was under warranty and hadn’t been fixed properly that we shouldn’t have to pay again. (Seemed fair to us) but we got the same very rude lady on the phone (Kerry i think her name was) and the whole process started again. As it turns out a friend of our is an electrician and he managed to buy a new motor for this machine at less that the cost of what they wanted just for the service call out so we lost more money rather than deal with this incompetent company. All in all only buy a LUX if you want to be messed around and over charged. the LUX DUCTED VACUUM SYSTEM is a rippoff !!!!!!!!
