Default Do you reckon being clucky makes you more fertile?!?!

Ha ha I am starting to think so

I fell pregnant with my surprise DD a week or two after my best buddy had her first baby, admittedly we did have unprotected sex but I was at day 28 of my cycle!

Another of my friends fell pregnant around the time I had my DD. And I have heard of several other cases too

Maybe it just coincidence... or maybe when we hold a newborn and get that needy feeling we release hormones that make us extra fertile

Nope. If it did I'd have loads of kids, not just one.

There is however an old wives tale that says that if you hold a newborn baby you will soon be pregnant. It's never worked for me however.

There is a smell that newborns give off that triggers women to ovulate and make them want to BD, there has been scientific studies do on it( I watched a doco on it a few years back )

I think there is something to be said about tempting fate. When we made the decision to start a family we arranged to have the impalon removed which had worked successfully for 9 months, prior I had been on the injection successfully for 12 years. My date for conception when falling pregnant coincides with the day we removed it. Due to bleeding I was scanned at 6 1/2 weeks (btw scan was fine strong heartbeat) only surprising thing was the date I should not have ovulated for another two weeks after removing the impalon. So our family is due to grow sooner than expected.
