    Default Parks in North Sydney

I am new to the area and our local park (Rofe Park, Hornsby Heights) is currently under renovation.
Where are some good parks for a 4 and 2 year old to keep them busy.

Would like them to have a bike track for them to ride and toilets.

Don't mind travelling up to 30 mins.

Also any towards or in the Gordon/Ryde area would be good as well as my husband works over there.

    Thanks

    Hi Mama Hen,

I live near you and we often go to Wahroonga park..opposite Coonanbarra cafe. Paths for bikes and an inclosed play area.

Today we went out to Fagan park near Galston. Great park and lots to keep both a 4 and 2 year old busy. Has bike track and large flying fox. Costs $4 to park inside the park but if you park just outside it is free.

South Turramurra also has a lovely park with a small bike track. It is down Kissing point Rd past South Turramurra public school.

    Hope this helps

We had a picnic at Wahroonga Park on the way home on Monday and we went down to Fagan Park to the festival on Sunday. They are both great parks!!

I have to say that the $4 parking fee at Fagan Park is worth it for such a great park, facilities and the themed gardens are fantastic the kids had a blast running around them.

I'm yet to check out South Turramurra but I'll put it on my list for next couple of weeks when the weather has gotten a little better.
