My 9.5 month old has for about 4 weeks been waking up damp if not really wet in the mornings. He usually wears Huggies, which used to keep him dry all night without needing to be changed. But about 4 weeks ago he started being damp in the mornings. I have tried putting him in the larger size overnight, but the 'new and improved' Huggies are a real disappointment--because of the new shape of the legs I can't make them tight enough around the legs to stop leakage! What are Huggies thinking!!
He is fairly slight for his length, so I think chubbier thighs would probably make it easier to make the legs of the nappies tight.
I have tried leaving him in the size he wears during the day and doing a quick change around midnight...still damp in the morning.
I have read other threads about overnight nappies and tried the Aldi ones...wet in the morning (even when I changed him at midnight).
I just don't know what to do. I think it's waking him (and therefore me) up early. I would do anything not to have to change him at midnight because that disturbs his sleep.
Does anyone have any tricks for getting through the night dry when their baby is a bit in-between sizes of nappies??
THanks so much!
