    I'm haven't worked in a year now (at least not for money )

    I'm at uni part time studying to be a teacher
    I also do a lot of volunteer work;
    I help run a local playgroup, I co-ordinate the local safety house program (safe houses for children in danger), I help on the school's P&C and I help with a committee on Inclusive Education.

    oh and I do all the usual mummy stuff with my 3 children too

    I work 2/3 days a week as a nanny for 21mth old twins and get to take Elijah with me so it's all good, just a bit hectic at times. DH works 2 days a week at IKEA as a storeman but trying to get his band up and running - when they get a new drummer.

    I'm happy being a SAHM to my 3.
    I'm planning to go to Uni in a couple of years (2009) to study Nursing, with the aim of being a Midwife (I think it's 4 years all up)
    Once Austin is a bit older I'm planning to start doing a bit more with DS#1 school and maybe some other volunteer work. I'm kinda just going with the flow at the moment

    I just started maternity leave, which isn't really leave since I am not going back.

    I used to be a marketing manager for a funeral home but I quit due to a psycho boss and got an eight month contract as a PA and found out shortly after that I was pregnant, which worked out amazingly well.

    I also teach Puppy School on Sunday afternoons and study at uni through Open Learning, but both of these things are on hold for the moment while I wait to have my baby, due in a couple of weeks.

    I am also a graphic designer so I have a couple of projects to do for my old work over the next couple of years, but I am doing this through my own business name, which I have to register.

    Apart from that, I am planning to be a SAHM for the next two years or so, just doing the graphic design stuff and the puppy school.

    When I go back to work in a couple of years I am planning to go back to the funeral industry, not for the psycho though, obviously!!

    That's the plan, we'll see what happens. Right now I feel like I am in limbo land!

    I'm on maternity leave at the moment (I am an editor for an online business and finance news service) so I plan to enjoy being a SAHM until at least May next year. Then it's back to work and DH becomes a SAHD - well that's the plan anyway!! Who knows?! I may change my mind.

    I'm a SAHM and I wouldn't work if your paid me!

    Although I was working before I had DD3 as a Patient Care Assistant thru a nursing agency and I've started my nursing degree. Because my DH works away and I don't have anybody to help with the kids and as I've spread out having the kids I'll have two at high school, 2 at primary school, it really is difficult to get someone else to collect them from school, do after school activities etc. I won't go back to work till my youngest is almost out of primary school.
