    Angry England v Portugal

Well, it will come as no surprise to anyone that Portugal beat England in the penalty shoot out.

Thats the umpteenth penalty shootout that we have lost. Why? Cos we are getting the ball to goal, but can we get the bloody thing in ? Oh, that would be a no then!!!!!!!!!!!!

The coach should be concentrating on that. We played well all through the match, then blew it at the last moment again. Its getting a bit boring now, always losing the same way!!!!!!!!! You would have thought we'd have learned something by now!

I stayed up to watch it and was on the edge of my seat the whole time! We played so well with 10 men.........then completely threw it away on the penalties. What the hell do we pay these people hundreds of thousands of dollars for. 1 out of 5,,,,, i mean that is just inexcusable. Roonie was an idiot, Gerard played well but looked exausted, Hargreaves played brillianltly, as did Cole and Crouch.
Can't believe we let it slip away after such an exciting game.

I know... it was like "here we go again".... my 8 year old who'd woken up for the last 30 mins said "Mummy, you'd think they'd practise kicking the ball in the net, wouldn't you!".

How astute for such a small child. You'd have thought Sven would have picked up on that too, wouldn't you??!!!!!!!! I mean he's only the coach.....

Lol, they should bring in performance pay for goal scoring and then we'd be the best in the world
