    Default Prescription Glasses

Hi all .... Im wanting to know if there is anyone else in this situation....

My DS (almost 3yo) wears prescription glasses, as he is very short-sighted (-10). I used to take him swimming and stopped when I was heavily pregnant with bub#2. He wasnt wearing glasses then, but now he wears them permanently, as his prescription is very very strong. I now want to put him in swimming again, now that DD is 4 weeks old ....... does anyone have a toddler that wears glasses fulltime. Did you buy prescription goggles, if so, where from and how were they ..... any suggestions or thoughts are welcome ! Cheers.

I've worn very strong prescription glasses since I was 18 months and started swimming when I was about 3... I have never had prescription goggles... just learnt to swim

Honestly the water is blurry anyway so I can't see it being a problem... I'd give him a go without his glasses to start with before worrying about prescription goggles. Lots of blind people learn to swim

Raising a little woman and a little man the best way I can.
Little Miss arrived 11.12.10 to join her big brother in our new start together.
Grateful for the blessings in my life
