Default What do you start back eating after gastro?

Had gastro Sunday Yesterday I did the toast and honey/vegemite and some plain noodles and dry biscuits and one plain chicken fajita for dinner. Today I feel lousy in the tum and just had toast but don't think I'm feeling much better.

I'm trying not to eat too many starchy carbs and not sure what else to have. Mum always did jelly and stewed fruit!

I thought I would feel better today, not worse.

    I'm lousy at being unwell

(((hugs))) I hope you're feeling better tomorrow. Personally I stear clear of anything acidic, especially fruit but most other things are ok. Blander is better though. Carbs are good, especially pasta as it can be pretty plain yet can give you the energy boost that you need to help you get better

    Clear fluids and no dairy.

Dry biscuits, apple puree or grated apple, poached/stewed pear

Icy poles for hydration - NO LEMONADE (now NOT recommended)

Get some acidophlous stuff from the chemist.

Lean meats and plain boiled potato

Thanks, yeah it's so boring, isn't it?! I think I will head for a grated apple as it's worse today than yesterday.

I have some probiotics, hadn't thought to take those.

    Thanks Newme
