    Default Pee catching Problem

    Hello,

i have 2 DS in cloth nappies part time. Both are in sposies over night. The problem i am having is that in the last week my DS 2 (5.5months 11kg- big boy) has been peeing through everything very quickly accept his Bambooty night nappies. I have Bambooty easy dry which i boost with an Itti Bitti trifold which lasts similar distance as the night. Itti Bitti D'lish snap in boosted last about an hour. I also have BBF and these dont hold up at all even boosted.

I have these nappies on rotation
    16 itti's snap ins L
    4 Bambooty easy dry L
    5 Bambooty nights L
    2 BBF
and all have reached the min washes for
    bamboo absorbency.

I know that there isnt an issue with a build of washing powder because all fit DS1 and they hold up really well on him.

So basicaly i am boosting everything to the max, extra boosters all round (accept the night nappies), and my Pee machine is seriously pushing it. We get him up from a sleep and change his nappy (usualy an Itti) and then when he goes down for a sleep i put on either a night nappy or the boosted easy dry.

DP is starting to doubt the cloth claiming "they always leak"

I need some help- not sure what to do? i cant stop him peeing, but i have comitted to cloth using cloth and dont want to go back to full time sposies.
what are the best boosters? i have some magic alls on the way- cos i can boost them to the max!!

Thank-you for taking the time to read this

it might not be the booster itself or the fabric, but the positioning. i found with my son he would absolutely drench a terry in one spot (right at front near the spout !) and the rest of the nappy would be dry. perhaps you need to custom a nappy for his big wees - put an extra stuffer in the 'wet zone' only instead of the whole nappy. with terries i would add 2 terry face washer cloths. you could use anything, a small hemp booster folded up?

I've never used Bambooty so can't comment but DD wets through Itti's quickly too. Maybe they're just not great for big wetters. You will probably find the Magicalls better.
