    Default deception bay

    we are looking at moving from hervey bay to deception bay area, well some where close to water for under $300 a week, does anyone no of any good places that has a nice beach good for sailing and cheap rent thanks, and also good primary schools.

    Hi, I live locally - Redcliffe, up a bit from D-Bay......and I keep an eye on the rental market - there is nothing like that decent and near the water for under $300. You'd be lucky to find something. I was shocked to see D-Bay renting properties for similar to Redcliffe (used to be a lot cheaper to rent in D-Bay).......all the best with it though, never know, you might find one.

    The actual water in D-bay isn't that great IMO... lol.

    We're in a suburban 3-bedroom home, not near the water (well, we're near mangroves, but that's gross...lol), for $280 a week. That's because it's DPs fathers' place... and he didn't up the rent for us.
    I've now lost 36kg thanks to the gastric sleeve!
