    Unhappy Lactose Intolerance Question HELP

My DD who is 12 months was diagnosed with L/Intol when she was 3 months old.
She was on Karicare L/Free Formula and is now on Digestelac Stuff.
I am a little confused she cannot have L/free yoghurt as she get either diarehha(sp) or is sick not long after also when she was about 11 moths old i tried watered down L/free milk and still she was sick and also it clogged her up.
    Soy stuff gives her diarreha...
The doctor said she may now have an intolerance to dairy and to not give her any until she is 2. When she got tested for her Lactose Intolerance she only had a TRACE of it, which is bugger all.
My Peadiatrician say' yeh, try milk, yoghury every 5 to 6 weeks"

What do i do ???? Should i get her allergy tested...

Thankyou if you read this long post too

yeah i would get her allergy tested....

as my ds was lactose intolerant but has since got better we had him allergy tested and it was great.... so your little one might just have an allergy to dairy...

My dd is lactose intolerant. I used to have her on the Karicare formula but now she has goats milk.

I would get your dd allergy tested again cause it might be the protein in the dairy rather than the lactose.

    All the best.

my peadtrician said before 18 months of age allergy tests can be done but arent reliable coz the allergy could go before the age of 2 if that makes sense
my ds1 is lactose intolerant and has reacted to vaalia (sp?) lactose free yoghurt the same way but is fine with other lactose free stuff.
