Default Immediate white line, evap or not??

Ok, Help! I need to know if this was an evap line or not...

I tested this morning with a Pregnosis pregnancy test. I followed the guidelines and when I looked at the test after 3 minutes there was a very distinct white line next to the purple control line. Does this mean I am pregnant?? I though the line was supposed to be coloured? Any ideas as to what the deal is?

Today should be the first day of my period, although it hasn't shown up yet. I am heading to the Dr's today (for something unrelated to this) is it worth mentioning?

    Thanks for your help!

I'm not sure as I have never heard of it happening - I would just get the doctor to do test while you are there.
    Good luck

If you are going to the doctors anyway, perhaps get them to do a pregnancy test on you, so you'll definately know either way

Thanks for your help guys, I will bring it up with the Dr. when I go in.

It was just a little strange because I tested yesterday with the same brand and there was nothing not even a faint line, and then today there was a really noticeable whitish line; confusing!

From experience, I don't think that is a positive. I think a whitish line is just where the chemical or whatever it is, is positioned for a positive test (ie. that would be where the purple line would show if it was positive). Does that make sense at all

    Try another test for sure.

A couple days before my period was due, I did a test and it came up one white line and one pink link (the white had no sign of pink at all - It was clearly different to what I had ever seen as I'd been doing a test every morning). I did some research and everything I read was looking more like a negative or a the test was faulty.

The next day, I tried again and I had a pink line and a very fainted pink line, as the days went on - the second line got darker and darker.

Well, to me that showed that a second white line has the potential to turn out positive, which I now am. It's worth pursuing or trying again in a couple days.

I'm using First Response. We had only been trying to conceive for 1.5 weeks and I started feeling off and the test was positive before my periods were due, I was quite happy with the First Reponse, they work really fast!!

    Good luck
