Deep heat ok while breastfeeding?

Hi there, I have a recurring knee problem that is causing me a few issues and was wondering if it was ok to use deep heat whilst breastfeeding? I've heard that it shouldn't be used during pregnancy as it can go into the blood stream.

i actually had to use some the other night as i have bad rheumatism in my knees.

i never thought about the effects..so i just did a quick google and this came up.

PRECAUTIONS: This medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.

So i guess like anything its a personal choice..maybe ring the ABA if your want more clarity.
