    Default One day sleep

    is now what we are doing for both children. (yup my nearly 3year old still has a day sleep)

    anyway i was just wondering if you all would like to share how long they sleep for in this day sleep.

    for example

    my son started off sleeping for a massive 2hours. but now its only an hour if im lucky enough time for him to refresh and start running a muck again lol.

    my daughter is now sleeping for 1.5hours.(sometimes i have to resettle with a feed if my son is sleeping)

    How long is your child/s day sleep and did they cut back before they cut out the day sleep

    p.s it has also helped her sleep better at night
    My son = 3.10 PDD NOS and GDD Diagnosed June 1st 2010
    My daughter = 2.4 Still breastfeeding
    My husband = turning 26 Keeping me sane
    Me = 25 this year

    Starting each day fresh

    My Bub is 16 months old and she has only one sleep for around 2 hours in the morning, till lunch, she is then back in bed for the night at 6.30 (only is waking 2 times now for a top up feed)

    Some days she sleeps 3 hours, others 1.5. Depends whats going on (weekends she sleeps less as the other kids are noisy ) so generally Mondays she sleeps 3 hours!!!!

    My son still had a day sleep till he started prep this yr and often has a nap on wk ends of around 1.5 hours or so, DD (6) has quiet time in her room ( or at the kitchen table doingg art) after lunch to chill out and relax.

    My DD is 17mths and in the last couple of weeks has gone to one sleep in the afternoon of about 2-2.5hrs. My DS who is 2.5yrs sleeps for 1-1.5hrs at the same time. I am dreading the day he stops having a day sleep. Both sleep from 6:30-5:30am overnight (I know 5:30 sounds early but it suits my husbands work schedule!)without waking up...occasionally DS will wake up to go the toilet but mostly he can wait till the morning.
