    Who here has plans to buy a home or build their first home?

    We sold our first house late last year and are currnetly having our house built. Should be able to move in mid august.

    It comes down to what you want though. I mean if you want it all done and just move on in, then buy but if you want exactly what you want build. if your looking to how much money you will make you will make more money on your house if you build.

    We want to build but will have to see, our first home we may have to buy if it is cheaper and then work out way up.

    I would like us to build as well, unless we can find something that suits us perfectly. I'm not fussy, I just have a few prerequisites.

    I would like to build a home, simply because i would have ducted refrigated air con and ducted heating installed, something that is not very common in most houses.

    we built our 1st home, i think that it is cheaper and plus you get exactly what you want.
    now we are trying to sell, this time we are gonna buy, b/c we want a bigger block and all the new estates around us have real small blocks or acres.
    i cant wait to move.
