My pasta bakes are really easy. Just make up a cheese sauce and add whatever meat and vegies you have on hand.

We had heaps of leftover corned beef so last night I made a pasta bake with it. I finely diced the meat, a carrot, a zucchini, and half a cauliflower. Mix it up with the cheese sauce, sprinke some grated cheese on top, and bake until golden. Yummo! And because the vegies are so finely chopped, SD didn't complain about "I don't like zucchini!" and ate it all!

Cheese sauce, for those who are interested-

-30 grams butter, 1 tbsp plain flour, 1 cup milk, handful of grated cheese. I normally do it in the microwave. Melt butter and add flour, mixing until it forms a smooth paste (this is called a roux and is the foundation of white sauce). Chuck in milk and cheese, whisk, and microwave for 30 seconds at a time, whisking every time until thick and smooth.

I know this is the quickist and cheapest way but go to safe way or coles and get a domino's pasta back sauce three cheese's is yummy.
Cook up your pasta then drain the water the mix the sauce in with the pasta. put it in a baking dish then top with grated cheese then cook in the ovan on 150-180 degress for 20 mins or until golden brown on top.. serve with snags or chops steak etc..

    * you can prepare this 3 hours before putting in the ovan *

    My DH's Fave pasta bake-

Cook some chicken and bacon in a pan.

When brown add in some mushrooms.

Add some sour cream and some chicken stock to make a sauce.

    Combine with cooked pasta.

Grated cheese (combo of tasty and parmesan is yummo)

Bake 20 mins ish until cheese is browned.

I sometimes change it and make chicken with sun dried tomatoes and pesto mixed into the sauce.

Mine is eazy peazy....I like the pasta bake jar from Aldi (tomato & basil).

Dice up some bacon and cook it.
    Boil pasta and drain.
Mix pasta, jar sauce and bacon up and put it into an oven proof dish....and cover with grated cheese. At the end, I put the grill on just to get the cheese ontop perfect

I'm making this tonight..the kids LOVE it.
