    Default Top Names for Aussie Babies in 2008 Announced

    McCrindle Research have released to Bub Hub the most popular names chosen for Aussie babies in 2008. We're the first to be able to announce the most popular boys and girls names for each state.

    What happend to Tasmania and ACT on the state by state list?

    Good question!

    Despite being relatively low in terms of population numbers compared to other states, Tasmania and ACT don't have the infrastructure to collate the information. Hopefully, this will change over the next few years.

    ooh, I like the names on the list. william and jack are both great.

    Mia was on DH's and my top baby name potentials.. Isabella.. oh, i love that name, reminds me of twilight. LOL thats probably why its so popular :P
