Angry What's with the Bobble Heads?

My niece is nearly 12 and suddenly she's got a bobble head.

BTW - Bobble Head - where eye rolling is accompanied by a head roll and the head stays on a tilt and the hands *almost* go on the hips

My neighbour complained of the exact same thing two days ago - her daughter suddenly got a Bobble Head.

It seems to be an affliction suffered by tweens, immidiate pre-teens and is replaced by a shoulder shrug and sneer when they are about 15ish

I was so upset when my baby cousin started doing this!!!! OKay, she was about 10, but as far as I was concerned she was still a baby!

She's heavily into hip-hop and girl groups like pussy cat dolls and she'd now 13, it worries me how much she emulates them in her additude and behaviour. Its really upseting because I look at her and I still think she should be about 2 years old (4 at the most!) I feel like she should still be begging me to play barbie dolls and dresses ups with her!!!

oh yeah! I feel you there.. my 10 yr olds head 'bobbles' so much and her eyes roll so much I worry she's going to give herself permanent damage to her neck and eyes!

I also often get the *scoff* "muuuuum", the sharp shoulder shrug that clearly says "OMG mum, you're such an idiot" with no words needed.. actually, come to think of it I often get the "OMG mum...blah blah blah" IN words!

I tell ya, I just looove puberty, PMS and teen angst rolled into one
