Hmm my 5 year old bought a torterous (is that a word? lol) cold home the other week...I felt so helpless as the Dr said plenty of fluid and no medication Then just as she was getting over it I came down with it. Body aches, fever, migraine 24/7, not eating....couldnt even move
Luckily my DP took over and entertained/fed/bathed the kids not to mention the night feeding of our youngest. So i was able to just lie on the bed/couch and die for 4 days. It was soo bad that I couldnt even sit up to BF DD2, so needless to say she is now bottlefed
But I feel sooo much better now. DP and DD2 didnt catch it, remarkable immune systems.......so we are a healthy household now YAY!

I have a cold/flu. I feel terrible. DF is away for another 2 weeks still so I am battling to look after DS all by myself. To make matters worse, DS is teething. I am so miserable.

    I have one coming on.

Yesterday I was all headachey, now I'm all headachey with sore throat, aching joints and dizziness and I think because I'm breastfeeding none of those cold and flu medications are suitable
DS is teething and playing tog of war with my nipples at the moment so I've been in a foul mood all weekend. He hasn't been going to bed until after 11pm, not sleeping through the day and is as cranky as I am.

    Oh, woe is me
