Default Silly reason to be mad at me really

I lost all my baby weight.

    In about two days actually.

Silly reason to be mad at me.

With my first daughter... the baby weight was gone...

Four hours after she was born.

This seems to be a case where other new mums, mums with kids already and just about any female really think its a circumstance where telling a stranger (thats me) or a friend (me) that "God, I hate you!"

I didn't do any drastic dieting. In fact, I ate like an animal because I cut out ANY food that posed a risk to me or bubs while pregnant. So I was eating burgers, pepperoni pizza and deli meat by the bucket full.

I was waiting in the lobby area of the hospital leaving with DD2 and this complete stranger said to me:
    "Is that yours?"
And I say, "Yes, she's three days old."
    "Oh I hate you!"

Sure, its said with a hugely sarcastic, jealous almost tone but still...

Then you get the real mean ones who assume you are a junkie, or have a eating disorder..... and if I say "nope just my genes, happened with my first too" they get even madder.

What a silly reason to be mad at me, really...

    Anyone else in this boat?

I'm not in your boat but i'm getting there.

I'm jealous of you but I don't hate you (I wouldn't just go up to a stranger and comment on you either way, I'd just comment on the baby).

I don't hate you but I am jelouse of you. Take it as a compliment. You are lucky - I would think on average it would take longer then 4hrs-2days to lose the baby fat

i wouldnt be offended really, strangers = no one to you + your life..

who cares what they think, im with traceyselena id much rather have someone point out how great i look even if it does have a sarcastic tone, then have someone be serious about how bad i look. (which has happened in the past)

it just depends on what number pregnancy it is, how much weight you gain yourself etc.

with my first I was practically a vegetarian, ate nothing with fruit, veges, nuts and carbs. so i was rake thin with a bump.. my mother compared me to a string with a knot tied in it

when the baby/placenta/fluid went and then the uterus contracted, i was me again.

i think a lot of women do try very hard not to gain excess weight during pregnancy and i think they are amazing.

with my next 3 i pigged out and had heaps of work loosing it. and NEVER ever went back to a size 8.. wouldnt want to either.

and then the last bub was different again. i lost weight during pregnancy (off my body apart from the belly) but have put more on after the birth than i had before i fell pregnant.

    its weird.
I am the old lady that lives in the shoe that has so many children and is lost what to do ... some days

    Doesn't it drive you mad?

I only gained 8 kgs while pregnant and within 2-3 weeks after having bub, I'd lost 12 kgs. It just happened.

Hope it happens with this one too.
