I heard it was 6-8 weeks.
I think I waited about 8 weeks from memory.
But it depends on what you feel comfortable.
If it's hurting then wait another couple of weeks.

I'm nearly tempted to try now at 2 weeks PP.
Def whenever you feel ready. I don't really think there's a time limit, although I have heard people say that their doctors recommend at least trying once before the 6 week check up.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Took me six months (poor DP!). I was so mangled down there that I had awful pain every time we tried. It sorted itself out though and everything's fine now. Of course, then I had to go and get pregnant almost straight away didn't I.

But I agree with everyone else - whenever you feel ready. I'd wait probably two weeks for sure, but after that I'd say it's up to you. You know your body best.
