Ha ha ha. That's quite the commute. I'd probably opt for something more local if I were you...

Well after much soul searching, and going back and forwards, we've decided not to put Nick in daycare yet. I'm hoping they'll offer us another spot in a few months, but maybe saying no will ruin our chances? who knows. If so he'll just have to figure out how to cope next year when he starts 5 day fortnights.

Dammit. Now I'm going to have to go and buy more M&M's for his birthday cake. For some bizzare reason I thought I could open a packet of chocolate and just eat a few...

Deb have you got a back up sorted?

We have fund raising chocolates at the moment - i think I owe it about $20

I'm sure they'll just shift Nick down the waiting list won't they? Also, they don't just throw them into the full day at kindy, it's a phase in type arrangement. A hour to start with etc, from memory it takes almost all of term 1 to get them to where they're going for all their alloted time. Nick will adjust fine, it's what kids do. Parents on the other hand... Took me ages, even though both the big kids had been to daycare. It's just such a momentous thing for us to send them to school.

    hey everyone

the cake looks great Fish! can you believe he's 3?

well i might be in labour...i think...very different to Isaac. contractions about 6-10 mins apart. easy peasy compared to Isaac's labour which started off at 2-3 mins apart and just got worse for 18 hours! we have friends on standby waiting to see if this is the real thing! i'm 10 days early so maybe smaller babies are easier. might just get a 7 pounder after all.

    better go and finish packing!!

Hi Deb, I hope it is the real thing. Mine with DD started similarly. Had a bub 14 hours later. Can't wait to hear updates and more news.

Lots of good vibes from us too

And thanks for the cake comments. I was really please with myself. It's almost like I'm creating somthing for an art expo My little creative outlet for the year.

But Deb I love Isaac's cake request!

Deb - how exciting!! Perhaps you are a Mum already!! Will have to go check facebook. My labour with Harry was really different to Blake's aswell.

Fish - I hope Nick had a great birthday!! Will have to go check out the cake - I assume the photo is on facebook? I take my hat off to you having two kids at home full time. Blake loves his day care and I love my day off. We have a lot on our plate though with the business so it's a huge help - not really a day off.

Lil - how's the photography going?
