Default Need advice on taking a carseat as luggage on a plane

Do I need to wrap/bag it or does it just go loose?

    TIA

You don't NEED to wrap or bag it, but if it rains while they are tootling across the tarmac ... you'll be glad you did! I just put mine in a big garbage bag - the checkin people usually have tape to run around it a few times.

Thanks Jaq, garbage bag is a good idea! I'm happy to look like a bag lady if it means the seat stays dry
