Default Do you worry about BPA?

Just wondering how many people use BPA free bottles, and how many use any bottles, not worrying about the supposed risks? Why/why not?

When I first found out, I was worried.

But after looking at the specifics, I'm not so much.

I don't have the milk in any bottles I've owned above 40degrees, its until around 60-ish (from memory) before BPA becomes a problem.
I don't microwave them either, which is also said to make it worse.

Other reasons too, but it was a long time ago now.

I do, I can only afford to buy one BPA bottle because the plastic ones are $20 each here, and that's expensive!

And a toddler with a glass bottle, oh no, no no...

I try not to worry...I have to try really hard though, it's in my nature!

I haven't looked into it enough but i happen to like the Closer to nature bottles anyway which are BPA free. I replaced DD's old one as it was looking a bit scuffed.

I worry, but the change I made was to ditch my microwave steriliser and buy a steam one. I'm keeping my eyes out for BPA free bottles as well, but they are considerably more expensive.

I was the same. Really there isn't a lot to worry about if you aren't heating the plastic too much.

Very much so. I only use glass bottles. I don't use BPA free as in the past, companies have been known to make false claims and I am not willing to take the risk.
Glass bottle are just as cheap as plastic.

Not really. I did use the steriliser with dd's bottles a bit but I didn't know any better then, this time around if using bottles I can just avoid the steriliser all together and make formula at room temp. Bottles don't need to be sterilised anyway, just a good soapy clean in warm water.
