    Question Recommend me a bottle

I want to have a couple of bottles here, for when bub comes home, as I plan on using EBM if things do not go as planned.
When I had DD I used Avent, but I am wondering what bottles you like and why?

I want a wide necked bottle (ease of cleaning etc) and a clear teat, I hate those brown teats

So tell me which bottles you use and why?

    Thanks...

We've been using the tommee tippee closer to nature ones since from about a week old to now (almost 8 months).

They are wide necked and have a clear teat.

We only use them for part of the week (EBM for when I'm at work) but they are still in great condition.

But if I was going to re buy bottles I would look for the BPA free ones (?? can't remember if that's the right terminology) in whatever brand.

ETA: why did we use them - somebody gave me some, so we just bought some more. We go between breast and bottle, it it claims to promote that, so I suppose we were drawn in to the marketing.

I use MAM anti colic bottles, they are BPA free.

The only drawback is that the bottom of the bottle screws off (it has a seal to stop leaking), it makes it easier to clean but there are more parts to wash.

I like them and they come in groovy colours as well LOL.

I love the PUR ones.. esp. the self sterilising one. The only bottle I have that never ever leaks! and being able to take it where ever and sterilise (as long as there is a microwave) is wonderful! On long outings I just took the one bottle and a small brush, in a mothers room I washed it out and used the microwave to sterilise.. so easy!

I love the MAM they do anti colic and a normal bottle very funky pink, blue, purple and spotty and BPA free
The anti colic bottles have a bottom that comes off, can be a pain for some but u can give the whole bottle a good scrub.

PUR self sterilising for sure Easy to clean, I never had any leaks and if we were out longer than we thought we'd be, we could always sterilise it and use it again while out, never had to lug around the big sterilising unit.

We started out with Avent but they always leaked.
