Needing info about bh

Ok, firstly I never had braxton hicks when pregnant with DS so I'm a bit clueless about them.

I know that they are painless tightenings in your belly, but where abouts in your belly? My bubs is head down, bum up and very low. I feel like I could shake hands with it it's that low.

I get a really tight belly down very low almost on my CS scar. It's not painful but I do find it hard to breath normally. It doesn't last for any specific amount of time either.

Does this sound like BH to you all? Thanks for your input.

Actually, Ive heard there kinda painful.. like period pains? I had a fair few.. generally what feels like labour but is completely irregular, start/stops etc is BH..

Hope someone a little closer to BH currently will reply *bump*

I think they can be different for everyone but that sounds like brax hix to me. I have had them from about 20 weeks with this preg, but didn't really have any for my first. I just feel like my whole belly goes rock hard, almost like clenching your fist but totally involuntary. It doesn't hurt at all. I am now also getting "period pain" type tightenings which are a bit more like very mild irregular labour contractions but only in the past few days and I'm assuming that they are pre-labour not just brax hix (I also had no pre-labour with my first). It had better mean this baby won't be much longer.
