A Question for AP parents

My DD has been having a rough time lately with sleeping...
(oh i am not an AP parent)

Anyhow both me and DH are currently shift workers and my mother looks after the kids when we are both at work...

So my question is...
For those that co sleep etc how do people who look after your children when your not there handle it?
Do they do the same thing?

Just curious, as if my mum was laying with DD to put her to sleep DS would be on his own in the lounge etc...

So any help or advice on how you guys do it would be appreciated.

Hey there...
I have left my son alone 3 times (since then things have turned bad with my mother) and she has slept with Hunter all 3 times because he wakes up to make sure someone is there with him. Its never for all night as i am still breast feeding but it makes it less of a shock that im not there...

we co slept (during the day until bub was 6mths) and at night for only 3 weeks lol we tried......

anyway to tell you the truth I didnt leave him with anyone until after the 6mth mark so wasnt hard at all hehehehe

But I have found that ds has never suffered from seperation anxiety and so when he is at daycare/at mums place he just does what ever they do ie sleeps in the cot or on my mums bed etc his not fussy, he is very easy going in that regard.

My DD is quite happy to stay with my mum, she adores her.

But what i mean is the people looking after your kids, do they co sleep with them and has it ever been a issue or hassel for them?

Hi,

I have done shift work while my children were cared for by my mum and dad or my sister. They are happy to do what is normally done, its not a hassle for them and they see it as a priviledge to care for my boys and make them feel comfortable in an unfamiliar situation without their mum or dad.
