Default This might be the wrong place for this, cause it's about me...

I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this, but here goes. What I want to know is; How long after giving birth or finishing BF did it take for you AF to return to regular cycles?

My story is that my DH and I have 5 children and after the birth of our last he had the dreaded SNIP. Problem being that he never went back to get it checked and make sure it worked. My cycle since finishing BF about 16 months ago has been a couple of days either side of the magical 28 day mark. However, my last came 4 days early. This time around I am 5 days past when my last was due, making me a total of 39 days since my last. (hope that made sense!). I am slightly terrified (ok, hugely terrified...) but hoping you all are going to tell me that it's all quite normal and I should stop stressing.

I have also posted this in the pg and birth section cause I'm a little desperate for some advice... sorry.

    you could be

maybe just test to see. also make an appt for dh to go and get checked. they are not always 100% failsafe unfortunately and they can reattach if they haven't removed enough and only tied them

Thanks for that. I think I'll be doing a test and visiting the doc, even if it is just for peace of mind. Hopefully this will be the motivation DH needs to go back and gt checked. He's not the type I can MAKE do anything, but I love him none the less.
I told him last night how late I was, in plain and simple terms. I just stated the fact and told him how many days it was. He did not say one word! It would have been funny if it was not so serious.

I really appreciate your replies. Thanks so much!
