    Talking Boxhill playgroups

    Hello,
I'm new to Melbourne with a baby! Lived here for 6 years but went to NZ to have bubs for 9 months. Are there any playgroups or mothers groups in the Box Hill, Blackburn area that are willing to take a mumma with a 6 month old Daughter?
I don't know anyone here and would love to make some new friends. I'm a want to be Naturopath (haven't had a chance to finish my degree) but now pretty much teach myself .. Would love to meet some like minded people to discuss ideas with....I'm a total greeny and love sports and keeping fit also..swimming..walking.. baby swim groups? anything..thanks guys )

Ummmm, I dont have a playgroup to go to either so i'm not much help am I! Happy to have a coffee sometime though. I'm sure there are other playgroups in the area, and maybe we could road test a few (much less daunting with someone else). Anyway PM me if you are interested.

Try ringing Koonung Cottage - it's located in Koonung Road Blackburn North.
They have playgroups. I used to go to one (my old mother's group put it together) on Wednesdays. I know though that they have other playgroups and sessions. Worth checking it out maybe?

There is also a playgroup attached to one of the Churches in Blackburn North too (I know of someone who goes to it) - but unfortunately the name of the church eludes me (could be St Johns or St Patricks or something - I don't know my churches sorry).
I've been touched by the friendship angel.
