    Default HELP suddenly a spewer

    DS is 9 weeks old and never had an issue with throwing up until about a week ago
    he now throws up during almost every feed??? why is this suddenly happening??? he seems to be damanding feeds more often now too, at around 2.5 hourly
    he seems normal & happy, just spewy & hungrier...
    anyone got any advice & what is this.. reflux?

    silly me i just noticed the colic/reflux section so i posted it in there too, hopefully they know more about it in that section

    Maybe reflux may just be a bit spewy but there are other conditions that can cause pukeing in that age group, Is it proojectile vomiting or or just a bit of spit up


    If its projectile ( like think exocist) then I would go to the ED just to get her checked over but if just normal puke more then likely some reflux but they can be happy chuckers meaning just inocent spewing KWIM

    Is bubs stil having wet nappies, is bubs tummy distended

    Hope all is fine, chances are its just a bit of spew but best to check these things

    its projectile
    goes all over my clothes & my couch
    it doesnt happen at every feed, but at least every second feed it does
    ive noticed he is has been starting to dribble too when he is not feeding

    might be an idea to get him checked out, Im not trying to freak you out chances are its fine but always good to get projectile vomiting cheked out just in case, specialy in that age group

    Probably best if you get bub checked out.

    If all is OK it might be worth switching to an anti reflux formula. I use Karicare HA-AR & very rarely get vomitting in the household now.
