    Smile Any great girlie movies????

Hi, my best friend's DH is going away for a night and we have decided to have a girls night in with a sleep over, pig out, and girlie flicks!!! Are there any great girlie movies you can recommend. We are gonna watch "In her shoes" and "Just like Heaven" but are there any others out there, I cant think of any latest releases. Can't wait for a no men allowed night !!

    Thanks girls!

My Best Friends Wedding, that movie cracks me up and Rupert Everett is a bit of a hotty (even though he bats for the other team) and also Love Actually, so so so cute.
Enjoy your night in, don't forget the wine

My fave would have to "Thelma & Louise"...pssst...I know you said 'no men allowed' but Brad Pitt is only in the movie for a few minutes (sometimes minus a top) does that count?

    Ok Must see chick flicks

The Wedding Date (very funny and Dermot is smoking!!!!)

How to lose a guy in 10 days (Drop down funny, which suprised me )

Sweet Home Alabama (Love Reese in this )

Freeway (this is another Reese flick from her earlier days and it a bit edgy but very funny, black comedy, Reese plays a white trash girl on a road trip with a twist Must warn you though there is violence and the language is pretty bad But I still loved it!!! )

Depending on what era you come from, you could relive your childhoods (well, teenagerhoods...lol) with silly movies like Clueless or one of my early-teen faves "Now and Then".

But yes, I'd recommend the Notebook for sure. If you've already seen it, something like it is "A walk to Remember" (it's written by the same guy). The latter is a bit "younger" though...with high-school aged characters.

How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days is funny. At least I think so.

Didn't care too much for "The Wedding Date" (it wasn't even a whirlwind romance type movie...I just didn't see any chemistry).

What about "Pretty Woman"? Everyone's seen it...but it's a goody all the same.

"Love, Actually" is GREAT. I didn't think I'd like it, but I so did. It's got a lot of different types of love...and it's funny/sad/sweet all in one.

Do you like Musicals? I'd go Moulin Rouge and Chicago, Grease and Dirty Dancing. My best friend and I loved Dirty Dancing so much (we watched it as little kids too...lol) went and saw it on stage. Great to sing along to.

Um...there's probably HEAPS of cool movies around for girly nights...did you think about "scarier" movies? Nothing says Slumber Party (even if a bit of an adult version...lol) like a scary movie!
I've now lost 36kg thanks to the gastric sleeve!
