    Default Which Baby Monitor?

I would like some feedback and recommendations concerning Baby Monitors. I'm looking to buy one that also acts as a sensor to the baby's breathing and would alert you if there was a disruption to baby's breathing. I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks.

I use the Angelcare monitor, the older version. It does exactly what you're looking for and has been great to us. This site, www.productreview.com.au is great for comparing products and reading user reviews.

You could check out Bub Hub's product reviews here: http://www.bubhub.com.au/myreviews/i...categoryDetail

I can't recall the brand I used (it was a decade ago!) but I found it too stressful, as not all the "warnings" were real ones and I found I was spending too much time sitting there listening to it and worrying.

Thanks ladies. I've been doing some internet research and had thought that I'd get the Angelcare Sound & Movement Digital Monitor 401. I'm glad you all seem to like it. Just wondering if anyone has the BabySense monitor and what they think of it?

I have a respisense and I love it. It is a little clip on minitor the size of a small pager. It doesn't just alarm if they stop breathing, it vibrates to stimulate them to breathe too. It's portable so you can use it in the car or pram too. Mine was $200 and it's been worth every cent because I co-sleep and it's meant I sleep much better.

We bought the Angelsense II monitor. It has 2 sensor pads (you use one pad while/ if they are in a bassinette and two when in the cot)

I have found it great and never had a false alarm.

It took me a bit of hunting around to find this as I couldn't fin it in any of the major baby shops. HTH

I have the ANGLECARE with two pads, you just use one in the basinette and 2 in the cot. We have never had a problem with it the only time it has gone off which was twice was when she rolled right to the side of her cot and wasn't near the sensor pads. I found it piece of mind. I am useing it agin this time with ds
