Ever heard of Mums Connect Cafe (or something like it???)

Hi there

I'm on the hunt for a mums/playgroup around the Burleigh area for my 1 year old. My midwife told me about a cafe/playgroup type thing in Currumbin when I had my daughter last year, and of course now I have no idea what I did with the details!!

It's something like Mums Connect Cafe or something, and it's a coffee and cake morning with informal playgroup for the bubbas.

Has anyone heard of it? Can you point me in the right direction?

Name does sound kind of familiar but I cant think of where I heard it from either.. would love to know where abouts in CUrrumbin it is cuz Im only in Elanora, u sure its not at a church? I think I might have heard it from there.

U could always look up on playgroup australia website for playgroups in currumbin & phone around.

Are u in currumbin area?

Hi I have not heard of it but would also love to know where it is if you find out as I live at palm beach. But there is a play group at uniting church at burleigh heads, top of james st and across the lights I thinks its burleigh st.

I think you are right, it is something to do with a church. Maybe in the hall at a church or something. That's ringing bells with me too. I'm in Burleigh, but happy to travel down to C'bin or whatever.

I'll try and track down this place and post the details if I can find it!

Yeah there is a Mums Connect Cafe at the C3 Church at Currumbin every second Tuesday - I've been going a while and every time a take a friend they love it! It's really great for kids as there are multiple play areas, and great for mums as volunteers keep an eye on the kids while you enjoy coffee and (awesome fresh) cake... Pretty sweet!
It's 9.30 am to 11.00 at 5 Queensbury Avenue, Currumbin Waters... I can never remember which Tuesday it's on, and it doesn't run on school hols, but you can call them 55346099 for more info..
