Default How much does central heating cost to install?

Has anyone had central heating installed in their home? What is a reasonable price for a three bedroom brick home? I could only find one price on the net for about $5000.... Also any idea how long is needed for installation...would it be done in a week?

A afriend got theirs done in Summer and it was around $3,000 - 3 bed brick home. I would look at doing it asap, before winter hits.

That's a good point- getting it in before winter.

We are looking at buying a house, but it only has a wall heater and it's in a cold area...so just trying to get an idea of what cost would be involved...

Is there a difference between 'central heating' and 'ducted heating'?

Dont know about the difference but just had ducted done and it was just under $2000 for a 3 bedroom brick (7 outlets) it's awsome my old one was like 30 years old so anything would be good but it heats the whole house in 5min

Check out the local paper. They normally have deals with local trades people.

    Hi guys!

Installing a central heating system is a very skilful job and requires full knowledge about the technique. We are offering £350 off any new central heating installations.
