ouch,.....deep grazes due to biting,..:(

ok,...so my 8month old is a dirty little biter

it bloomin hurts! and I cant seem to get him to stop (he does it when I least expect,....

I have deep bleeding grazes on my nipples,..and dread the next feed,...

how can I get them to heal???? quickly????

air drying helps. Not very helpful in a busy life but does help.

OUCH!! I dread the bites! DS has given it a shot a few times, cheeky boy!

Have you tried a nipple shield? I know they aren't ideal, but it may give your nipple a chance to heal up. Breastmilk on it and letting it air dry does wonders too.

I would suggest pumping on the side that he has biten, that should give it time to heal, before he chomps again (i have a biter too

)
Also i have some Rite Aid Hydrogel Breast Discs. They are really good. You pop them on and straight away the coolness of them starts to relieve the pain and discomfort (i should be in advertising)
