It was only $50 but I was thinking my pensiojn wud go in today...I know that the money will go along way. Aussies already have donated 10mil.

i agree i felt happy yesterday after contacting red cross about donating blood and bagging up clothes/bedding..
hopefully next week i can afford to give $$ too!

We donated $550 yesterday. DH and I cannot donate blood, we just cleaned everything out of our house that we don't use.. so money was all we could give!

Does anyone have an idea of how long and how much($$) it will take to rebuild all those houses and buildings. Are the people going to have to sleep in tents for ages?

Its amazing to see the tally going up all the time. Today alone its gone up by almost 5 million dollars!!!

We just wish we had money to spare unfortunately we can barely survive ourselves. We're going to do our shopping at coles on Friday so at the very least that should help!
