Default Case of the missing Cat collar!

My ginger outdoor cat lost his collar the other day..his nice new reflective red one with a ID tag on it he got for x-mas.....

Well, I recieved a phone call yesterday arvo from a lady all the way down the other end of the rd and on the other side...she has his collar.....there's FUNNY story behind it though I just had to share.....

Her daughter lives next door to her and she also has a ginger cat...BUT she doesn't know her cat all that well as she thought MY ginger cat was HER ginger cat and she thought that someone had adopted her cat and put this collar on HER cat ...so they took the collar off MY cat....called me and asked if I was "sharing" her cat!!! Aparently MY ginger cat goes down to her house and rubs up against her leg and gets a feed..makes himself at home!!!!Meanwhile I have no idea where HER ginger cat is...I have never seen him..but I do live right up the other end of the rd...so her cat probably doesn't wander like mine does..lol

This ladies mum and I were having a good laugh about it over the phone once we both realized there definatley is TWO ginger cats about and obviously they don't know the difference between them ....I sure know MY cat though, and he comes home every morning for breaky..then he sleeps in the garden allll day long untill tea time, then that's when he goes out for the night He also has a fat nose and black on his gums (cancer ) and I've had him for 9 yrs....lol

So, she is returning MY CATS collar thismorning, I'll put it back on him and then they'll know the difference between their cat and my cat

that reminds me.. I have to ring the number on a tag and collar I found in the driveway last night.. a neighbours cat decided to wander into our yard while our cat was there our cat is desexed but still bashes up other cats that come into his territory.. they scuffled around for awhile and Sabre managed to pull this other cats collar off its head

    I'm not happy!
They never returned MY cat collar...so I bought another collar and ID tag...well after 2 nights, it's GONE
My cat doesn't ditch his collars...sheesh, I've had him for 9 yrs and the only time I ever replaced a collar was when the old one was worn....now 2 collars gone in less than 2 months....BOTH have ID, ph number and the last one even has my addy!

So....Ginger is getting microchipped today! I just get worried if he gets hit by a car or hurt ect..I WANT TO KNOW!

to the ppl down the rd..grrrr

Wow it makes you wonder if they even do have a ginger cat themselves then doesnt it. Because it sounds like they might be trying to take yours.
