in the bath today we lined our ducks up.. we have 6 all different sizes.. lined up in height order. and dh counts.. 1,2,3,4,5,6.. and points. then again with seth pointing.
then seth hums while pointing and it sounds like the numbers.
like hum one, hum 2,hum 3,hum 4, hum 5, hum 6. he can also hum twinkle twinkle little star.
so we know he is learning as such but how do we go about teaching him to speak.. or is that the whole point of early intervention?
is the humming good or bad? do we keep encouraging it?
opinions please![]()

It shows he is understanding what you are trying to communicate to him and that he is responding and communicating back to you.
